About the event

A special concert designed for our most treasured audience…..
the 0-3 year olds!

Join us in the magical surroundings of Slieve Gullion to introduce your little ones to the wonderful world of music. Watch their little faces light up as they encounter the majesty and splendor of the Concert Harp, the high serene tones of the violin and the pure and beautiful voice of our guest soprano, Fiona Flynn. It is never too soon to introduce your little bundle to music both for their own enjoyment and the many benefits that listening to and learning music provides.

To tell you more about this, we have invited leading educationalist and music specialist Diane Creighton to give a talk exploring the importance of music in developing essential skills for learning. Based upon mountains of research on the topic of Music and the brain, Diane, in her own vivacious style, will demonstrate to you how music can help develop your child’s listening skills, language acquisition and readiness to become effective young learners.
